Job Description

Role Overview

The Store Manager will oversee inventory operations, manage stock levels, ensure accurate inward/outward movement of materials, and maintain a well-organized store environment. The role demands strong coordination skills, product knowledge, and effective supervision to ensure smooth flow of electrical equipment and materials.

Key Responsibilities

Manage overall store operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
Maintain accurate stock registers, GRNs, material issue notes, and daily inventory records.
Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and safety of all electrical equipment and components.
Coordinate with purchase, sales, and billing teams for timely order processing.
Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation to avoid discrepancies.
Monitor material movement and ensure FIFO/FEFO as applicable.
Ensure timely preparation of dispatch documents (DC, packing list, etc.).
Track slow-moving, fast-moving, and critical stock items.
Supervise store assistants/workers and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and safety standards within the store.

Additional Requirements

Must be willing to work full-time at the Tirunelveli Junction office.
Immediate joiners will be an added advantage.
