Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing the receipt and unloading of raw materials with proper documentation such as delivery challans, invoices, and purchase orders. It will be your duty to verify the quantity and quality of materials received against purchase orders in coordination with QC. You will also be in charge of issuing raw materials to production and outsourcing teams as per schedules and supplying raw materials to outsourcing vendors as per the Picklist. Ensuring that storage conditions meet material-specific requirements like rustproofing and weather protection will be crucial. Supervising contract workmen for material handling and ensuring safe material handling practices are followed are important aspects of the role. You will be required to post MR/Picklist in SAP and develop a systematic layout for materials in storage to optimize space utilization. Conducting regular safety drills and training for contract workers handling materials and enforcing adherence to material handling safety standards, including the use of appropriate tools and PPE, will be part of your responsibilities.,
