Store Manager (Construction)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee site-level inventory management for civil and MEP materials, tools, and consumables.
• Maintain accurate stock records, receipts, and issue logs using manual and digital systems.
• Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical vs. recorded inventory.
• Implement FIFO/LIFO systems and ensure proper storage conditions for all materials.
• Monitor material usage and flag discrepancies or wastage to the project manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety and handling protocols for hazardous or sensitive items.
• Support site logistics including unloading, tagging, and secure storage of incoming materials.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong working knowledge of Civil and MEP materials and their site applications.
• Proficiency in inventory control, stock tracking, and documentation.
• Familiarity with storekeeping software/tools and basic Excel reporting.
• Ability to manage high-volume stock flow in fast-paced construction environments.
• Attention to detail, integrity, and proactive communication with site teams.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.

Minimum 7 years of experience in site storekeeping, preferably in civil or MEP projects

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
