Job Description

Overview

Store Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Management
Monitor, record, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Receive and inspect materials; generate documentation like GRNs.
Conduct regular stock audits and maintain inventory in ERP or similar systems
Material Issuance & Replenishment
Issue materials as requested by authorized personnel (e.g., site engineers).
Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of critical stocks
Record-Keeping & Reporting
Maintain accurate stock records—usage logs, stock levels, discrepancies.
Use MS Office/Excel and/or ERP systems for tracking and reporting
Store Maintenance & Security
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and secure.
Identify and report damaged or faulty materials.
Support Tasks
Assist with loading/unloading and material dispatch.
Multitask across administrative and operational duties as needed.

Qualification and Skills

Education
: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
: At least 3 year in inventory or store management, preferably in construction.
Technical Skills
: Proficiency in MS Office/Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
Personal Attributes
: Organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of multitasking and coordination.
