Storage Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Storage Engineer with expertise in Pure Storage platforms to design, implement, and manage enterprise backup and storage solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FlashArray, FlashBlade, and leading backup tools such as Commvault, Veeam, and Networker. This role involves ensuring optimal storage performance, data protection, and disaster recovery readiness.
Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage enterprise backup and storage solutions using Pure Storage technologies.Administer and maintain Pure Storage FlashArray and FlashBlade systems for high-performance data storage.Monitor storage performance, capacity, and health using Pure1 and other monitoring tools.Ensure data protection, backup integrity, and disaster recovery preparedness.Collaborate with backup software teams (e.g., Commvault, Veeam, Networker) for seamless integration.Perform regular backup validation and restore testing to ensure recoverability.Optimize storage utilization and implement deduplication and compression strategies.Maintain accurate documentation for storage configurations, policies, and procedures.Support audits and ensure compliance with data retention and security policies.Stay updated on Pure Storage product enhancements and recommend improvements.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience with Pure Storage FlashArray, FlashBlade, and Pure1.Strong knowledge of backup solutions: Commvault, Veeam, Networker.Expertise in storage performance monitoring, optimization, and capacity planning.Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.Familiarity with deduplication, compression, and storage optimization techniques.Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Relevant certifications in Pure Storage or backup technologies.Experience in enterprise-scale storage deployments and migrations.
