Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and ensure 100% uptime of servers, robust storage administration, and end-to-end patch and backup management at Bina site. This role demands hands-on expertise in managing Windows/Linux servers, hypervisors, UCS chassis, storage arrays, and backup tools (NetApp FAS2554, Commvault).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily health checks and log monitoring for all servers (rack, UCS, Hypervisor).
• Ensure 100% server uptime and take corrective actions proactively.
• Conduct BCP/DR drills quarterly between DC and NDR sites.
• Patch management for Windows/Linux, including testing and deploying security patches (CVE mitigation).
• Perform manual patching on systems outside the network or with endpoint issues.
• Generate and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports on patching and server status.
• Manage Storage Systems: RAID, LUN, zoning, health checks, space and security management.
• Oversee backup operations, test restorations, and ensure compliance with retention policies.
• Perform restoration tests for applications like Windows, SAP, Email per schedule.
• Manage snapshot-level backups, media labeling, housing, and offsite backups.
• Coordinate with OEMs/third-party vendors for patching, hardware support, and issue resolution.
• Use call logging systems for task updates and ticket resolution.
• Ensure timely incident handling as per SLAs and escalate violations to BPCL BR as required.
• Provide remote support when required under BPCL BR IT team’s guidance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
