Static Equipment Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Should have 5 - 15 years of relevant experience in static equipment design within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.) related to static equipment design.
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in engineering design software and tools (e.g., CAE software, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The duties of the Engineer are:

• To guarantee the quality of the generated mechanical calculations of pressure equipment and their compliance with the contractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions
• To conduct technical training as per department needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Tecnimont Group for new Design techniques
• To keep him/herself up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline
• To check the engineering drawings and the relevant mechanical calculations of static equipment supplied by the Vendors.
• To coordinate the activities of the draftsmen charged to prepare the engineering drawings of each static equipment and transmit any necessary information.
• To cooperate in the preparation, updating and editing of internal norms and standards
• To provide for the compilation and issue of the summary sheets of the loads acting on the supports, fireproofing, insulation, painting and auxiliary structure weights of static equipment.
• To participate, when required, for the critical equipment to the most important phases of construction, testing, assembly and start up.
