Static Equipment Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Work as a Senior Static Equipment Engineer handling various kind of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and equipment platforms. The responsibilities and duties in the experience desire to cover the following aspects.

- Being responsible for the engineering of static equipment throughout EPC, and lead, delegate tasks and organize the team

- Assisting equipment cost estimation for static equipment in EPC bidding task

- Material selection, mechanical calculations and detailed design of pressure vessels and shell & tube heat exchangers

- Detailed design of equipment platform

- Preparing RFQ document package for static equipment

- Conducting technical bid evaluation of static equipment vendor quotation and preparing selected vendor recommendation

- Conducting static equipment vendor document review for technical assurance after placing order to the vendor

- Making engineering information and coordination with the other disciplines

- Coordination and negotiation with customers

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university

Work experiences of more than 15 years for Engineering Design of pressure vessels and heat exchangers for Oil & Gas / petrochemical facility, chemical, power plant.

-Schedule planning/management of static equipment RFQ, technical bid evaluation, order placement, after order detailed engineering

-Ability to identify risks, ability to assess customer requirements and based which to coordinate the relevant static equipment vendors and the customer.

-Ability to communication and collaboration with various parties involved in the project/trouble

-A high standard of English language ability both written and spoken

-Ability to use the Microsoft Office environment in all aspects of daily work

-Highly ethical - accountable for actions and statements

-High attention to detail and proactive follow up

-The willingness to take responsibility as delegated and make decisions at appropriate times within the authority level
