Civil Engineer (HVAC & Plumbing Engineer)

Job Description

Responsible for HVAC mechanical, HVAC controls andPlumbing Design related works for international projects as described below: Preparation of basic HVAC systems planning and designspecifications, including presentation to Client. Supervision of detailed engineering and BIM worksexecuted by 3 rd party engineering / BIM modelling consultantsincluding engineering quality and schedule control. Engineering coordination work with other buildingsdisciplines engineers (e.g., Architectural, Structural) and with otherplant discipline engineers (e.g., Civil, Piping, Mechanical, EI). Procurement support work related to vendor selection,purchasing, and technical advising, such as for HVAC equipment/panels. Construction support work related to subcontractorselection, contracting, field engineering and trouble shooting. Other than Oil Gas experience, other industry experience will also beconsidered for candidates with experience in (a) international projects, (b) industrialbuildings (non-commercial bldgs), such as power / infrastructure field Requirements BachelorsDegree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university 10 Years relevant experience in EPC of large Oil Gas/Petrochemical facility development. A high standardof English language ability both written and spoken. Ability to usethe Microsoft Office environment in all aspects of daily work. Highly ethical -accountable for actions and statements. Experienced indesign or/and field supervision/engineering in international projects is anadvantage The leadershipqualities to lead, delegate tasks and organize the team. Ability tounderstand and interpret complex problems and explain them to others. High attentionto detail and proactive follow up. The willingnessto take responsibility as delegated and make decisions at appropriate timeswithin the authority level. Striving forexcellence in efficiency, safety and profitability. Understanding ofPlant engineering for Oil Gas, Plant drainage systems undergroundstructures, concrete foundation design etc. Knowledge of thefollowing design software packages. Mentoring andtraining of junior engineers / GETs within the department.
