Job Description

Job Opening – Static Equipment Draftsman | Location: Surat | Experience: 4 Years We are seeking a skilled and experienced Static Equipment Draftsman to join our engineering team in Surat. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in mechanical drafting for static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and storage tanks. Key responsibilities include creating detailed 2D fabrication, GA, and layout drawings using AutoCAD, interpreting technical documents (e.g., datasheets, P&IDs), and ensuring compliance with industry standards like ASME and API. The role involves close coordination with engineers and other departments to maintain drawing accuracy, version control, and support during reviews or inspections. A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a solid understanding of fabrication processes are required. Experience with tools like PV Elite, SolidWorks, or Inventor, and exposure to EPC or oil & gas projects are added advantages.
