Position: State Manager - Respiratory Acute Care (Ahmedabad)

We are actively recruiting for the role of State Manager - Respiratory Acute Care, responsible for leading and driving business within Gujarat, Rest of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Development: Coach, lead, and develop direct reports to foster a high-performing culture, facilitate clinical change, and ensure alignment with the country sales strategy. The candidate should be inquisitive, willing to share learnings, and a strong communicator.
  • Sales Strategy: Provide input to the national sales plan to address market conditions and competitor strategies, ensuring sales targets are met.
  • Account Growth: Grow accounts and territory sales results, with a focus on driving consumable sales.
  • Program Implementation: Develop and oversee regional sales and education programs to effectively deliver the FPH message and achieve sales budgets.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct visits to build relationships with existing and prospective customers, introduce FPH products and therapy approaches, and create demand.
  • Post-Sales Support: Provide post-sales education, troubleshooting, and complaint resolution to promote early identification of customer issues, ensure correct equipment use, and drive consumable sales.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Respond to escalated customer questions and complaints, ensuring FPH quality processes are followed to maximize satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Prepare state or regional reports to advise management on progress against sales plans, market conditions, competitor activity, and territory management.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct timely territory reviews with team members, addressing performance and attitudinal issues promptly.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate FPH attendance at regional conventions to maximize education and sales opportunities.
  • Compliance: Adhere to hospital procedures and protocols across all departments, including staff interaction, equipment, and hygiene.
  • Resource Management: Utilize operational tools and administration resources, including products, car, phone, and laptop, in an organized and timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Science Graduate with minimum 10 years of medical devices sales experience and at least 3 years in people management role.
  • Proven experience in medical or clinical environments.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Energetic, driven, and passionate with a deep understanding of sales fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver on continuous improvement projects.
  • Experience in facilitating product introductions and managing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
