Job Title: State Head (Google Pay) Location: Delhi, Gurgaon Department: Payments / Digital Banking / Fintech Partnerships Job Purpose: To support and grow the GPay (Google Pay) business line by managing partnerships, optimizing payment processes, and improving user engagement through strategic initiatives. The Deputy Manager will act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, compliance, and innovation within the GPay ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: Partner Management: Manage and grow strategic partnerships with Google Pay and allied stakeholders (banks, payment gateways, NBFCs, merchants). Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations of GPay transactions including onboarding, issue resolution, settlement reconciliation, and compliance. Business Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities by integrating new services, promotional offers, and payment innovations on GPay. Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, legal, and tech teams to align GPay initiatives with organizational goals. Customer Experience: Collaborate with customer support teams to resolve user grievances related to GPay payments in a timely and satisfactory manner. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). 715 years of experience in digital payments, fintech, banking, or e-commerce. Familiarity with UPI, PPI, and digital wallet ecosystems. Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of the digital payments landscape, especially UPI and GPay. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills. Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience: Prior experience in managing relationships with Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or other major fintechs. Exposure to product management or digital banking initiatives.
