State Head

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Execution

• Oversee multiple renewable energy projects across Maharashtra under MEDA and other government initiatives.
  
• Set and monitor daily/weekly/monthly targets for the District Manager teams (e.g., survey, dispatch, installation, inspection, billing, payment release).
  
• Ensure timely site allocation to Implementation Partners (IPs) and monitor installation progress.
  

Vendor & Procurement Coordination

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors based on project needs and region.
  
• Coordinate with vendors for customer acquisition (based on feasibility and availability).
  
• Collaborate with the purchase team to ensure timely procurement of materials as per project timelines.
  

Logistics & Operations

• Work with the warehouse and operations teams to prioritize material dispatch according to project urgency.
  
• Ensure seamless coordination between material dispatch and installation timelines.
  

Billing & Documentation

• Manage billing and documentation processes for IPs and customers.
  
• Coordinate with the accounts team for billing and invoicing to first-level customers.
  
• Liaise with vendors, legal, and internal teams for contracts, quotations, and invoice approvals.
  
• Handle documentation for JCR (Joint Commissioning Reports) and liaise with government authorities for timely billing and payment clearance.
  

Team Leadership & Reporting

• Lead the District Manager team and guide field operations with clear performance metrics.
  
• Maintain control of all project documentation and ensure compliance.
  
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress, risks, and escalations.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management, or relevant field; MBA preferred.
  
• 7+ years of experience in renewable energy projects, preferably in solar pump implementation under government schemes.
  
• Strong leadership, project coordination, and vendor management skills.
  
• Proficient in documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  
• Working knowledge of government billing processes, especially related to MEDA/JCR.
  

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in working with government agencies like MEDA or similar state renewable energy departments.
  
• Ability to travel extensively across Maharashtra.
  
• Strong understanding of solar technology and rural project execution.
