Job Title: Instructional DesignerDepartment: Training, Learning and DevelopmentLocation: New Delhi or GurugramType of Work: Consultant - Full-Time, HybridDuration: 12 monthsReports To: Senior Program Manager, Training, Learning and Development Job OverviewThe Instructional Designer will be responsible for reviewing and revising online/offline course content to ensure it remains relevant, engaging, and effective. This role involves working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design high-quality learning experiences.Key Responsibilities:Need Analysis: Review and analyze feedback from course participants and stakeholders.Design LNA strategies and tools to collect needs and skill gaps of the learnersContent Development:Design and develop e-learning courses using multimedia elements, assessments, and interactive activities. Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise) and other authoring tools.Apply instructional design principles to enhance course effectiveness and learner engagement.Create detailed storyboards, prototypes, scripts, and course outlines based on instructional objectives.Stay updated on the latest e-learning trends and technologies.Develop interactive and engaging learning experiences, incorporating quizzes, scenarios, Action Learning Programs, simulations, feedback collections, pre-post evaluations and multimedia elements.Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Blooms Taxonomy, Gagns Nine Events) to course development.Ensure all learning materials adhere to SCORM, xAPI, and accessibility (WCAG) standards.Review and edit content to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with learning objectives.Conduct user testing and quality assurance (QA) to refine and optimize learning content.Stay updated with the latest LMS trends, instructional technology, and e-learning innovations.Design and develop cutting-edge instructional materials that simplify AI concepts for learners at various levels. Stakeholder Management:Collaborate with instructors and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevancy.Collaborate with graphic designers, developers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality training materials.Collaborate with different vertical heads of the organization as per the needs.Business Development:Support Business Development team to develop new products and services around tech-enhanced e-learning innovations.Support HR, Legal and other departments in improving the process trainings into engaging eLearning modules.Create a knowledge hub where all employees get access to eLearning modules and other information resources.Basic QualificationsBachelors / Masters degree with specialization / certificate / course credits in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, and/or a related field.5+ years of experience in instructional design or e-learning development, with a portfolio showcasing e-learning courses and instructional materials.Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms.Strong understanding of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM), adult learning principles, and learner engagement strategies.Experience with e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.Experience working with Artificial Intelligence models will be an added advantage. Skills & CompetenciesStrong written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English.Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technologyExcellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design modelsLesson and curriculum planning skillsBasic HTML and Flash programming knowledgeSolid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management SystemVisual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboardAbility to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scriptsCreative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Excellent communication, creativity, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Excellent documentation and analytical abilitiesDemonstrated ability to work effectively and sensitively in teams, vulnerable communities, and with government counterparts. About the Opportunity: Grameen is implementing a program titled Generating Rural Opportunities for Women to Win in Agrientrepreneurship (GROW) in three districts of Andhra Pradesh (East Godavari, West Godavari, tadepalligudemThe program will create self-employment with a sustainable and regular income for at least 5,000 women, working as Agrientrepreneurs (AE) who, in turn, will contribute to the livelihood enhancement of a million smallholder farmers (SHFs). Reporting and relationships: The position reports to the Senior Project Manager of GROW project. The District Manager will directly supervise staff, local implementing partners and contractors related to the project. The position will be based in Andhra Pradesh. Job Summary: The District Manager (DM) will be responsible for all operations in her/his assigned district and ensure that the implemented activities are aligned with the project overall goal. The project will have four district managers, one for each district. Essential Job Functions Key Responsibilities To establish clear goals, targets, milestones, activities, etc., for trainers and field mobilizers and provide guidance, support, and regular feedback to help them implement the project in their district To monitor and oversee the functioning of all trainers and field mobilizers in their district To work in close coordination with the trainers and field mobilizers in mobilizing the community and potential AEs to participate in capacity building sessions, and Interpersonal Communication (IPC) To lead the scouting, and plan for mentoring and accompaniment of the Agri-Entrepreneurs (AEs) selected in the assigned district To help develop the confidence, knowledge, critical thinking skills, and understanding of the project among the community and AEs To identify relevant stakeholders within the community and the district ecosystem for potential collaborations or developing partnerships with local agencies for successful business operations of the AEs To provide regular updates to the SPM about the district's operations and report any issues/ bottlenecks blocking the projects progress To build and maintain the relationships with local stakeholders and project communities, particularly the AEs to foster support and cooperation for the projects success To ensure collection and analysis of relevant data and its tracking and use for decision making in the project o To ensure development of relevant digital content and project wide adoption of Grameens proprietary apps for project databasing, client capacity-building, creation and curation of knowledge assets, and for project documentation and monitoring Development of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports Education and Experience (S)he should have 5 to 8 years of work experience in the agriculture domain, particularly in agri supply chain management, FPO management, Managing FPO business portfolio, FPO capacity building, ensuring market, Finance and Technology Linkages, liaising with government departments and market players.
