Job Description

Job Title : State Head-Cable Sales

Reports to: Zonal Head/Regional Manager

No. of positions: 2

  • Position 1: State Head-MPCG+Chhattisgarh (Base location: Indore /Bhopal)

  • Position 2: State Head-Bihar+Jharkhand (Base location: Patna/ Ranchi)

Minimum 12 years of exp. in sales and business development within Cable Industry or similar electrical products.

Looking for candidates preferably from cable industry-(LT/HT/EHV/Control/Instrumentation cables & Conductors)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy:

    Develop market and implement the sales strategy for Industrial Cables (LT/HT/EHV/Control/Instrumentation cables & Conductors) in assigned states
  • Go To Market

    : Design and execute a comprehensive go to Market strategy, including market entry plans, channel strategies
  • Team Leadership

    : Lead and mentor the sales team to explore new business opportunities and extract maximum sales from Dealers and customers.
  • Business Development

    : Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Industrial Cables sector. Make & implement plan to appoint new dealers & add new customers. To nurture business growth from EPCs and end customers. Should be having good connect with OEMs in the state and hold good rapport with Electrical consultants
  • Market Insights

    : Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities
  • Market Research

    : Conduct market research and analysis to identify product innovation opportunities and differentiate the product range.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    : Work with finance marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure seamless product availability and establish competitive pricing strategies.
  • Performance Tracking

    : Monitor sales performance of team and generate actionable insights using provided sales analytics tools
  • Responsible for

    monthly order intake/revenue

    through channel/direct customers
  • Managing existing dealer/customers & increase share of wallet (SOW) with team

Customer base

Candidates profile -

B.E./B.Tech /B.Sc. MBA is desirable.

Minimum 12-15+ years experience of handling teams

Skills

  • Proven track record in sales and business development within Cable Industry or similar electrical products.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team towards achieving targets.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling the development of rapport with key stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to gather and interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
