Job Overview:

We are looking for a Delhi-based State Coordinator – PR & Liaison to lead external communications and relationship management efforts in the region. The role will primarily focus on strengthening the Foundation’s visibility, engaging with media and stakeholders, and building strategic partnerships with government bodies, NGOs, and other institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Public Relations:

• Develop and implement region-specific PR strategies to enhance the Foundation’s public image.
• Manage communication with local and regional media, including press releases, interviews, and story pitching.
• Build relationships with journalists, influencers, and communication partners.
• Ensure consistent branding and visibility through traditional and digital media platforms.
• Coordinate internal content for external outreach such as newsletters, articles, and success stories.

Liaisoning:

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Delhi team and the Head Office.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local government officials, administrative departments, and relevant public institutions.
• Coordinate with NGOs, civil society organizations, and partner networks to facilitate joint initiatives and collaborations.
• Assist in obtaining approvals, permissions, and support from authorities for Foundation activities.
• Represent the Foundation in official meetings, forums, and advocacy efforts.

Reporting & Coordination:

• Submit regular updates and field reports to the Head Office.
• Maintain accurate documentation of stakeholder engagements and communication activities.
• Track developments in the regional policy landscape relevant to the Foundation’s work.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in public relations, advocacy, or liaison roles, preferably in the development/non-profit sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Proven ability to build networks and influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with digital communication tools.
• Must be currently based in Delhi and willing to travel locally when required.
