Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Environment, Health & Safety (EHS):

Ensure appropriate safety measures across the manufacturing, logistics, and operations in the state/territory.

Ensure Environment & Health practices/measures and compliances as per the rules/directives of DGMS, IBM, Pollution Control Board or any other state/local authorities.

2. Product Quality & Manufacturing:

Maintain a deep understanding of product offerings, features, and competitive advantages.

Ensure efficient manufacturing operations within budgeted costs in collaboration with the Central Engineering head.

3. Financial & Budget Management:

Manage the sales budget, optimize spending, and ensure a high return on investment.

Track sales Revenue, Cost and Profitability to maximize financial performance.

4. Competitor Activity:

Oversee the source of competitive supply into the various operating zones/States.

Continuously monitors competitor activity, price levels, communicates and recommends any necessary actions.

5. Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and meet revenue targets across the State/territory.

Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities to drive informed decision-making.

Oversee end-to-end sales processes, including contract negotiations, deal closures, and sales pipeline management.

Monitor sales performance metrics, and provide insights and recommend for improvements.

6. Market Development & Customer Relationships:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, distributors, and other relevant stakeholders in the state/territory.

Identify new business opportunities, including expanding partnerships, enhancing customer service, and developing customized solutions.

7. HR, Administration & Team Management:

Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, setting KPIs and targets for each department.

Addressing workman grievances, disciplinary matters, labor welfare issues, wages Payments.

Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure continuous learning and development.

Foster a collaborative and competitive team culture that encourages goal achievement and high performance.

8. Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure all statutory compliances including relevant labour Laws.

Liaisoning with various internal & external authorities including Principal, Vendors, Customers, Commercial Taxes, Mining Office, Labour representatives etc.

Ensure that all sales practices and operations comply with company policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations.

Ensure sharing timely updates and reports to senior leadership, addressing key performance metrics, achievements, and areas requiring attention.
