Role Overview: As a Staff Frontend Engineer at Talview, you will work on the Talview platform, focusing on application and foundational layer services. You will collaborate with peers on teams dedicated to specific areas of the product and work closely with product managers and designers to achieve common goals. Key Responsibilities: - Develop features and improvements to the product in a secure, well-tested, and performant manner, leveraging your 5+ years of experience. - Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features within the product. - Craft code that adheres to internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices, and advocate for these standards through code review. - Ship small and large features and improvements with minimal guidance, collaborating with the team on larger projects. - Enhance the overall product experience by improving the quality of Frontend features within your guild and features that benefit other teams. - Identify areas of improvement in the code base, contribute to making it better, and help other Frontend Engineers learn and collaborate effectively. - Fix prioritized issues from the issue tracker, focusing on bugs with severity or priority labels. - Contribute to workflow processes, advocate for product quality, security, and performance improvements, and solve technical problems of significant scope and complexity for your squad. - Drive innovation within the team, proactively address impediments to efficiency, and represent Talview and its values in public communication and interactions with internal and external stakeholders. - Provide mentorship to all Engineers on your team, participate in Incident Management, and contribute to on-call rotation to ensure the availability goals for the Talview platform are met.
