Staff Frontend Engineer

Role Overview: As a Staff Frontend Engineer at our fast-growing, innovative SaaS product company, you will have the opportunity to define and shape the frontend architecture while leading by example as an expert individual contributor. You will collaborate with a passionate team of engineers to build pixel-perfect UIs, scalable frontend systems, and delightful user experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and implementing scalable, performant frontend architectures using React, TypeScript, and modern SPA paradigms. - Building reusable design systems, component libraries, and tooling to empower developer productivity. - Leading the adoption of Generative AI technologies to enhance product experiences. - Guiding the team in evaluating and implementing AI-powered features with a strong focus on performance and UX. - Setting the frontend technical vision, best practices, and guardrails across products. - Mentoring and coaching developers, reviewing code, and driving engineering excellence. - Working closely with design and product teams to deliver high-fidelity, interactive, pixel-perfect UIs. - Engineering real-time collaboration features, live editing tools, and spreadsheet-like interfaces. - Continuously monitoring, profiling, and optimizing frontend performance (responsiveness, rendering speed, bundle size). - Championing accessibility, type safety, testability, and developer productivity. - Taking complete ownership of major features and architectural decisions from ideation to delivery. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience building complex web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend stacks. - Deep expertise in React, component-driven architecture, and state management (Redux, Zustand, React Query, etc.). - Strong understanding of SPA frameworks, ES6+, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive web design. - Proven experience in frontend performance optimization (caching, memoization, rendering strategies). - Familiarity with browser APIs, web standards, and build tools like Webpack or Vite. - A track record of building and scaling design systems, component libraries, and modular codebases. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction.,
