SS Electrical Engineer

Purpose/Objective

• To manage/execute civil works of 765 / 400 kV Substation with required productivity, with OHS & quality plan

Key Responsibilities of Role

- To ensure Contour survey, soil investigation as per Layout. - Planning & assessment of resource & machinery requirement. - Planning & tracking of Steel, Cements & other construction raw material for seamless progress. - Able to plan & foresee the drawings requirement for continued front at site. Review the approved foundation drawing and preparation/review BBS. - Implementation of SFQP – Lab approval, Source approval, RMC approval and support in implement of site material testing lab. - Following routine frequency test and implementation of Standard Field Quality plan. - Preparation of weekly and monthly planning respective to the L2 schedule and based on planning preparing manpower and material requirement details. - Basics knowledge about electrical clearance, electrical equipment used in Substations. - Able to monitor, manage & control the site - Project Monitoring, Site Co-ordination, Execution Planning, Projects Supervision, Review of Civil Bills & follow ups. site surveys & reports. Material Reconciliation, Maintain all statutory compliances - Liaison with local authorities for administrative approvals as per requirement - Knowledge about assessment of land requirement for substation construction. - Checking quality of raw material & workmanship at site - Checking bought out item MTC, sample collection for test. - Monitoring day-to-day activities pertaining to quality in consultation with site in charge - Maintaining Daily and Monthly Progress Report of Project. - Review of the Drawings whether they are as per Contract, Tech. Specification or not. - Running RA bill on monthly basis of company and contractor - Checking bar bending schedules and quantity estimations.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification : BE / B. Tech/ Diploma – Civil Experiences: - Minimum 5-12 years of experience in Substation Civil Works execution - Knowledge of Prudent Industrial practices, CPWD & IS codes - Excellent Interpersonal skills & multi-tasking ability. - High-level Self-Motivation and ability to motivate others.
