SRE - Site reliability Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our nearshore delivery team for a global leader in the Cruise Line industry. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about automation, performance monitoring, and building resilient systems. You will be responsible for optimizing CI/CD pipelines, integrating observability tools, and ensuring production stability through proactive monitoring and automation.

Technical Skill Set Required

Must-Have:

• Azure DevOps (ADO): Pipelines, Repositories, Automation
• Microsoft Azure Cloud: Environment deployment, Monitoring tools
• AppDynamics: Observability, Dashboarding, Alerting
• ServiceNow: Incident, Change, and Problem Management
• Strong scripting capability in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and integration with monitoring/logging
• Automated testing integration within deployment flows
• Experience with analyzing telemetry and log data
• Ability to build self-healing automation or recovery scripts

Good-to-Have:

• Familiarity with Splunk
• Hands-on experience with Postman and Swagger for API testing
• Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, JMeter
• Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., AZ-104)
• Background in travel or cruise industry

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate and maintain observability tools such as AppDynamics
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications
• Create dashboards to monitor build stability and application performance
• Enable automated testing and validations across deployment stages
• Analyze logs to identify issues proactively and tune alert rules
• Implement automated recovery actions (self-healing systems)
• Support incident and change management processes via ServiceNow
• Assist in post-release optimization and deployment monitoring
