Sr. Test Specialist

As a QA Test Lead with 7+ years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our product releases. Your responsibilities will include defining and owning the QA strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing test planning and execution, driving NFR testing, authoring test plans, and continuously improving test processes using AI-assisted tools. Additionally, you will assist in integrating QA workflows with CI/CD pipelines, conducting root-cause analyses, and maintaining instances for demos and simulations. Key Responsibilities: - Define and own the QA strategy and process maturity across product releases. - Collaborate with Development leads, Product Manager, and CS Engineers to validate feature readiness and develop an actionable QA plan. - Conduct demo and walkthrough sessions for UAT handover. - Manage test planning, estimation, execution tracking, and defect tracking. - Drive NFR testing for Security, Performance, and User Experience validations. - Author, review, and approve test plans, cases, and regression suites. - Ensure continuous test process improvements using AI-assisted tools. - Assist with integrating QA workflows with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks. - Conduct root-cause analyses of user incidents and implement preventive QA measures. - Maintain instances for Demo and simulations. Required Skills & Competencies: - Leadership: Team mentoring, stakeholder coordination, quality ownership. - Testing Strategy: Strong understanding of QA governance, metrics, dashboards. - Automation Awareness: Familiarity with Selenium, PyTest, or similar frameworks. - NFRs: Hands-on experience in Security, Performance, and UX testing. - AI Awareness: Practical use of AI-driven test management or defect analytics tools. - Tools: Proficiency in GitHub, Jira, Pytest, Selenium, Playwright. - Documentation & Reporting: Strong focus on clarity, traceability, and metrics-driven QA reports. Preferred Experience: - Product company background with a focus on cybersecurity. - Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field, ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification (preferred), prior experience in Cybersecurity Product QA, exposure to AI-based testing tools or quality analytics frameworks, experience in Agile/DevSecOps environments.,
