As a Sr Technical Support Engineer specializing in Subsurface Science & Engineering (SSE) solutions at AspenTech, you will play a crucial role in providing expert technical support, delivering high-quality training, and collaborating with customers to optimize their geoscience workflows using cutting-edge technology. Your key responsibilities will include troubleshooting complex geoscience-related technical issues, conducting training classes on AspenTech's subsurface products, optimizing geoscience workflows for customers, assisting in pre-sales consultations, collaborating with internal R&D teams, contributing to product improvements, conducting software testing, and developing training materials. To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Geoscience-related disciplines or equivalent relevant experience, strong knowledge of geoscience workflows and subsurface modeling techniques, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-first mindset. Experience with AspenTech products or similar advanced software is a plus, as well as familiarity with New or Renewable Energy workflows. If you have a commitment to building lasting customer relationships, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to travel as needed for customer engagements, including international travel, you may be a great fit for this position.
