This is a strategic leadership role that combines technical oversight with innovation, cost optimization, and team development. Key Responsibilities: Strategic & Technical Leadership Define structural design standards and strategies for large-scale commercial and high-rise projects. Lead the conceptual and detailed structural design for towers, podiums, basements, and specialized infrastructure like server halls (for data centers). Innovate and implement sustainable and resilient design solutions tailored to seismic zones, high wind regions, and heavy-load requirements (especially for data centers). Project Oversight Review and approve structural designs, drawings, and calculations for compliance with IS codes, NBC, and relevant international standards (ACI, Eurocode, IBC). Provide technical direction from pre-design through construction documentation, ensuring coordination across architectural and MEP disciplines. Ensure structural systems meet both safety requirements and architectural vision. Design Excellence Promote advanced design practices including the use of post-tensioning , precast systems , high-performance concrete , steel-composite structures , and seismic dampers . Drive adoption of digital engineering tools BIM (Revit/TEKLA), ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000 , etc. Lead design optimization and value engineering reviews to reduce costs while maintaining performance. Stakeholder & Regulatory Coordination Interface with clients, architects, consultants, and government bodies for design approvals, peer reviews, and compliance checks. Coordinate with project management and execution teams to ensure design intent is maintained during construction. Team Development Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of structural engineers and modelers. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Key Skills & Competencies: Expertise in structural design of high-rise towers , large-span structures , data centers with raised floors , and commercial office buildings . Deep understanding of seismic, wind, vibration , and load-path considerations in complex buildings. Strong grasp of construction techniques and interdisciplinary coordination . Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills. Familiarity with LEED, GRIHA , or other green building certifications is a plus. Preferred Background: Experience with large-scale urban development projects. Prior work with top-tier real estate developers, engineering consultancies, or multinational architecture/engineering firms. Projects delivered in metro cities or seismic-prone zones are highly desirable. The Pore Pressure/Geomechanics Specialist provides support for well planning and execution by collaborating with the cross-disciplinary well delivery teams by developing geologically sound and compliant pore and fracture pressure forecasts and wellbore stability models. The specialist also assists in pressure detection efforts for wells and incorporates sub-surface related nonproductive time and drilling events into new forecasts. Primary Accountabilities Pore Pressure and Fracture Pressure Forecasting: For pore pressure, the specialist should be able to integrate offset well data such as measured pressures, connection gases, log data in context of the geological setting to generate a pore pressure forecast. For fracture gradient, there will be an emphasis on analysis and integration of data from multiple sources to generate a forecast e.g. log data, drilling data, Mini-frac/leak off data, Data from Lost Circulations Events and Geological Setting. Integrate work with others on the multi-disciplinary well planning team to optimize the design on the selection of drilling fluid type/weight, casing string design, setting depths, potential geo-hazards and mitigation techniques. Operational Support for Pore Pressure Detection as required for complex development or exploration wells in collaboration with the remote collaboration center; including real-time model calibration, kick analysis, gas and breathing analysis and losses investigations. Drillability Assessment: Develop wellbore strengthening model and implementation plan for drilling through depleted reservoirs. As an exploration geologist you will: Deliver integrated geological and geophysical descriptions and evaluations at regional, basin, play fairway, and prospect levels. Deliver prospect and lead inventories. Mature selected opportunities into detailed integrated prospect descriptions including assured, risked volumetric assessments. Support well planning and well operations when drilling exploration prospects. Integrate post-well results into subsurface models and undertake post-well evaluations.
