Qualification & Education: Degree in Geoscience, Engineering, or related field. Excellent understanding of the impact of Marine Geohazards issues to operational safety and integrity in delivery of the organizational vision. Ability to rapidly identify and communicate key issues in support of the growth of Offshore Renewables - especially in relation to the assessment of entry to new operational areas. Extensive industry experience in delivering Ground modelling and Geohazards Assessments across a variety of international settings, for very shallow (e.g. cables) and shallow (e.g. foundation) settings. Excellent interpersonal skills both oral and written. Proven experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams and major projects with minimal technical supervision Expert user of industry standard project and engineering software. Job Requirements You will be part of an integrated Site Assessment (survey acquisition) and Ground Engineering team providing site survey and developing fit-for-purpose ground models and ground-engineering for bid assessment through design, construction, and operation. Provide geohazards expertise across offshore wind portfolio through the project lifecycle, including geohazard survey and consultancy scoping and technical oversight in survey and consultancy execution ground modelling and geohazard management for permanent and temporary works Ensure geohazard (seismicity, shallow gas, slope instability etc) and obstructions (challenging seafloor and seabed conditions, debris, boulders, UXO, etc) identification, assessment and mitigation, for appropriate depths of interest (e.g. cable or foundation), by avoidance or by design at windfarm sites, cable routes, landfalls and onshore facilities, during site investigation and project design and execution. Work within an integrated geoscience team to build fit-for-purpose ground models for wind farm engineering. Quantify and present ground engineering risks to relevant customers to ensure they are understood, controlled and continuously reduced across the business. Collaborate with safety, consent and procurement teams to ensure robust execution of works. Collaborate with associated foundation, and transmission engineering, and construction disciplines to safely deliver site investigations and project infrastructure. Ensure safe and cost-efficient design and integrity management throughout asset life in accordance with and industry technical practices and standards. Maintain relationships with third party suppliers, contractors, and other partners. Actively contribute to technology development and to the wider geohazards and geophysics communities of practice to share knowledge and findings. Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Consultant for our Drilling Software & Solutions to join our dynamic team at Landmark Halliburton. As a Technical Consultant - Drilling, your day-to-day role will be to provide expert consultation and support on our Drilling Software & Solutions to our esteemed clients. You will collaborate closely with the Sales team, contribute in analysing customer environments to diagnose a system or business problem, developing relationships with customers to better understand their needs and offer technical expertise. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Landmark Halliburtons Drilling Applications. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of Drilling and contribute to the success of our clients drilling operations. Responsibilities: Provide expert consultation and support for Landmark Software & Solutions in Drilling domain. Collaborate with the Sales team in - understanding client requirements & provide technical consultation, making technical presentations, proposal writing, delivering proof of value studies for clients, industry event involvement etc. Travel to client locations as required to provide on-site support and implementation of Drilling solutions. Skilled at communicating value propositions of Landmark software and solutions across drilling engineering - Well Planning & Designing, Drilling Operations, Real Time Analytics and cloud-native solutions. Function as a liaison between the customer and the product development team to help drive product innovation and quality. Train and mentor junior team members on Drilling applications and industry best practices. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Bachelor s degree in petroleum engineering or related field. Minimum 2 years of drilling engineering related experience. Depth of experience and hands-on skills on - Well Planning & Designing, Real-Time Operations and related Software solutions is required, proficiency in Halliburton Landmark s Drilling applications is preferred. Awareness and interest in cloud technologies and digital solutions. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Outstanding collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and clients, coupled with technical writing and presentation skills. Proven ability to provide technical consultation and expertise to support sales efforts. Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic industry with changing environments. Willingness to travel to customer locations.
