Sr Technical lead

As an experienced Liferay Developer, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining portal applications using the Liferay platform. You will work within agile environments to deliver high-quality web and portal solutions. Your responsibilities include: - Developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level web applications using the Liferay platform. - Customizing and extending Liferay functionalities (portlets, themes, hooks, services) according to business requirements. - Integrating Liferay with various enterprise systems, including databases, third-party services, and RESTful APIs. - Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Liferay portal implementations. - Collaborating with UX/UI designers, business analysts, and backend teams to deliver seamless solutions. - Working with version control tools (e.g., Git) and ensuring code quality through unit testing and code reviews. - Participating in Agile/Scrum-based development cycles, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives. - Staying updated on the latest features and best practices in Liferay and related technologies. Your technical skills should include: - Strong proficiency in Java and JSP for backend and frontend development. - Expertise in Liferay Portlets, Liferay Service Builder, Liferay Themes, and Hooks. - Experience with Liferay MVC framework, RESTful Web Services, and Liferay REST APIs. - Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js). - Knowledge of Spring and Spring MVC, and experience with JPA/Hibernate. - Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). - Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Version control with Git. - Knowledge of Liferay's modular architecture and OSGi. - Experience with Elasticsearch, Solr, or similar search technologies. - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms is a plus. Nice to have skills: - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile environment. - Strong attention to detail and focus on delivering quality results.
