Work on all plugin types and utilize out-of-the-box Liferay features , including extensive use of Liferay Service Builder . Handle Liferay Enterprise Edition 6.x , along with tools like Liferay Sync , Social Office , and Liferay Administration . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party systems and implement REST/SOAP services . Utilize frontend and backend technologies such as Java , JSF/PrimeFaces , Alloy UI , jQuery , and JavaScript to build robust user interfaces and backend logic. Use version control systems ( Git ) and project management tools ( Jira, Confluence ) for smooth project execution. Work with CI/CD tools like Bamboo or Jenkins for efficient deployment and delivery. Preferred candidate profile Strong experience in Liferay Portal Development , including configuration, customization, and extension of core modules. Working knowledge of Spring MVC and Hibernate is a plus. Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing project requirements quickly. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Internet-savvy with excellent research capabilities to stay updated with Liferay trends and innovations.

Job description: Designing and developing applications in the Liferay DXP portal platform. Customizing Liferay OOB portal functionalities using Hooks, Extensions Liferay themes, layouts and FTL template development. Proficient in Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Rest API Services. Excellent hands-on experience with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Queries. The ability to produce bug-free and production-grade code. Good analytical & problem-solving skills. Role: Liferay Solution Architect About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Liferay Solution Architect who is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive Liferay portal solutions that align with business and technical requirements. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for architecting end-to-end solutions that address complex business challenges, aligning technology with strategic objectives, and ensuring successful project delivery. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, providing technical leadership, and ensuring the performance and security of Liferay applications. Primary Skills: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in increasing responsibilities within a global, multicultural, multi-location organization . Proven experience of 8 years as a Solution Architect, with a focus on Liferay development (Version 7.4) and architecture and Microsoft technologies. Experience with technologies and integrations such as Java, JavaScript, C#, RESTful APIs, SOAP, .NET Applications, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions. Knowledge of database management and SQL. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
