Liferay Developer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain solutions using Liferay Portal , with a strong understanding of its architecture and best practices. Work on all plugin types and utilize out-of-the-box Liferay features , including extensive use of Liferay Service Builder . Handle Liferay Enterprise Edition 6.x , along with tools like Liferay Sync , Social Office , and Liferay Administration . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party systems and implement REST/SOAP services . Utilize frontend and backend technologies such as Java , JSF/PrimeFaces , Alloy UI , jQuery , and JavaScript to build robust user interfaces and backend logic. Use version control systems ( Git ) and project management tools ( Jira, Confluence ) for smooth project execution. Work with CI/CD tools like Bamboo or Jenkins for efficient deployment and delivery. Preferred candidate profile Strong experience in Liferay Portal Development , including configuration, customization, and extension of core modules. Working knowledge of Spring MVC and Hibernate is a plus. Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing project requirements quickly. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Internet-savvy with excellent research capabilities to stay updated with Liferay trends and innovations.
