Your role will involve developing, customizing, and maintaining cutting-edge portal solutions for enterprise-level clients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, customize, and maintain solutions using Liferay Portal, leveraging a strong understanding of its architecture and best practices. - Work extensively with all Liferay plugin types and utilize out-of-the-box Liferay features, including significant use of Liferay Service Builder. - Handle Liferay Enterprise Edition 6.x, along with tools such as Liferay Sync, Social Office, and Liferay Administration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party systems and implement robust REST/SOAP services. - Utilize a range of frontend and backend technologies including Java, JSF/PrimeFaces, Alloy UI, jQuery, and JavaScript to build robust user interfaces and backend logic. - Use version control systems (Git) and project management tools (Jira, Confluence) to ensure smooth project execution and collaboration. - Work with CI/CD tools like Bamboo or Jenkins for efficient deployment and delivery pipelines. **Preferred Skills & Experience:** - Strong experience in Liferay Portal Development, encompassing configuration, customization, and extension of core modules. - Working knowledge of Spring MVC and Hibernate is a significant plus. - Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing project requirements quickly. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Internet-savvy with excellent research capabilities to stay updated with Liferay trends and innovations.
