Company:

Senior System Administrator

Key Responsibilities

Maintain essential IT operations including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, run diagnostics, document resolutions, and prioritize problems based on impact.
Manage local network maintenance and security, including firewall configuration (Sophos).
Provide technical documentation and specifications for planning and implementing infrastructure upgrades.
Perform and oversee regular backup operations, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
Manage inventory and deployment of software licenses.
Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, ensuring timely resolution of workstation and application issues.
Plan for capacity, storage, and performance optimization.
Administer and maintain cloud servers (AWS/Azure).
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
