Job Title: Team Lead -Study Abroad Counselor Location: Delhi/Guwahati/Kolkata Job Type: Full-Time (On site) Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Management Supervise, mentor, and train a team of study abroad counselors. Develop and implement counseling guidelines, ensuring standardized practices. Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations. Student Counseling Provide one-on-one counseling sessions for students and parents, addressing queries related to country-specific programs, universities, and courses. Assess student profiles, recommend study destinations, and advise on suitable programs. Guide students through the admissions process, from application to visa procedures. Documentation and Compliance Ensure that all documentation related to applications, financials, and visa processes is accurate and up-to-date. Keep informed of visa regulations and changes in immigration policies in various countries. Event Planning and Outreach Organize webinars, seminars, and workshops to educate students on study abroad opportunities. Represent the organization at educational fairs, conferences, and other outreach events. Market Research and Reporting Conduct research on educational trends, popular courses, and emerging study destinations. Prepare reports on counseling performance, student feedback, and market trends for senior management. Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s in Education, Counseling, or related field preferred. Experience : Minimum 5 years in study abroad counseling, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Skills : In-depth knowledge of the global education system and visa processes. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
