Role Overview

Walbrydge Technologies is hiring Senior SDET / QA Engineers to drive quality assurance across a large-scale, multi-module digital ecosystem spanning web platforms, mobile applications, admin dashboards, and real-time operational systems.

This role focuses on test automation, platform-level quality ownership, and release readiness, working closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure production-grade reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Framework Development

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for:
• Web Applications
• Mobile Applications (Android & iOS)
• Backend APIs and Services
• Build and manage automated test suites using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• Implement API automation using Postman/Newman, REST Assured, Supertest, or similar tools.

Platform Quality & Validation

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across multiple platform modules.
• Validate complex workflows involving admin panels, operations dashboards, real-time systems, maps, and analytics.
• Perform cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-platform testing.

Collaboration & Release Readiness

• Collaborate with Backend, Frontend, Mobile, Product, and Architecture teams to ensure full test coverage.
• Participate in sprint planning, story grooming, and release sign-offs.
• Partner with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Defect Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze defects, crashes, logs, and metrics to identify root causes.
• Maintain clear documentation for test scenarios, defects, execution reports, and release notes.
• Continuously improve test strategies, coverage, and execution efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Skills

• 7–9 years of experience in SDET / Automation QA roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium/WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Mobile automation experience using Appium (Android and iOS).
• Solid API automation expertise using Postman, REST Assured, JMeter, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, JavaScript, Python, or equivalent.

Platform & Process Knowledge

• Experience testing enterprise platforms, admin dashboards, workflow-heavy systems, and real-time applications.
• Exposure to testing maps, geolocation features, dashboards, and streaming data systems.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.

Additional Strengths

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills across web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of platform-level quality.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
