Job Description

Contributing to development of procedures, practices and systems that ensures safe operations and compliance to company s integrity & quality standards
Driving a corporate culture that promotes environment, health, and safety (EHS) mindset and operational discipline at the workplace at all times.
Ensuring safety of self, teams and lab/plant by adhering to safety protocols and following environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace.
Ensure all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self
Compliance to Syngene s quality standards at all times
Hold self and their teams accountable for the achievement of safety goals
Govern and Review safety metrics from time to time

Core Purpose of the Role:

Proficient in operation, maintenance of downstream process equipment like AKTA Pure, AKTA Pilot, TFF systems, column packing, buffer preparation and inventory management. etc.,
Proficient in buffer preparation as per the given composition.
Pack columns as per vendor recommendations/protocols for different resins.
Execution of laboratory experiments and documenting them in detail as per Good Documentation Practices in laboratory Notebook and in soft copies
Compilation of data, Interpretation and preparation of development report, TTD, BPR, SOP, EOP, IOP, and technical presentations.
Preparing draft experimental protocol and getting it reviewed by the team lead.
Should support cross functional activities.

Role Accountabilities

Downstream process development, process characterization and technology transfer.
Supporting the execution/guiding of downstream experiments, analysis, interpretation of data, communication and documentation.
Complying with the QMS, safety systems and technical administrative works in labs.
Preparation of technical presentation for client.
Authoring and reviewing experimental protocols, reports, and BMR.
Forecasting of materials required for the associated project.
Maintaining Lab compliance. Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements always in the workplace ensuring lab safety.
Planning of experiments related to downstream processing. Scaling-up as per the requirements.
Authoring/reviewing of technical documents.
Mentoring junior s related to project/process.
