Your Impact
We are looking for a Senior QA Mobile Automation Engineer with a strong product and systems mindset. You will collaborate closely with developers and QA engineers to define and implement optimal automation strategies aligned with product release timelines. This role offers the opportunity to explore and integrate cutting-edge automation tools into future framework development.
What the role offers
- Deep understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS and Android).
- Proven experience in automated test script development using Java, Kotlin, and Swift.
- Strong skills in mobile app troubleshooting, including evidence collection and bug reporting.
- Proficiency in terminal commands across Linux, Mac, and Windows environments, including ADB.
- Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools: Android Studio, ADB, Xcode, Appium, Appium GUI Server, and Appium Inspector.
- Solid knowledge of Git and repository management.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as ValueEdge/Jira and understanding of the defect lifecycle.
- Expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies, including system testing, regression, black-box, white-box, and performance/stress testing.
- Execution of both automated and manual test cases to validate release candidates and platform changes.
- Effective collaboration with a globally distributed team of developers, testers, architects, and engineers, with flexibility to accommodate time zone overlaps.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with mobile test automation frameworks (Appium, Selenium, XCTest, XCUITest).
- Minimum 3 years of experience writing tests in Java, Kotlin, and/or Swift.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to build sustainable and scalable automation test suites.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity is a plus.
