Sr. QA Engineer

> Experience: 5+ years Job Summary We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing , test automation using Java Selenium , deep understanding of QA processes , and hands-on experience in API testing using Postman . You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our applications and services through rigorous testing and process adherence. Key Responsibilities Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual test cases . Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing . Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Java and Selenium WebDriver . Maintain and enhance existing automation test suites. Perform API testing using Postman , including validation of request/response, status codes, headers, and payloads. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in Agile/Scrum teams . Track and report defects using tools like JIRA , and ensure timely resolution. Contribute to defining and improving QA standards, best practices, and processes . Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to provide QA perspective. Mentor junior QA team members and support knowledge sharing within the team. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on QA experience in both manual and automated testing . Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java . Good knowledge of TestNG, Maven, Git, and CI tools like Jenkins. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience testing APIs using Postman . In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes . Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber . Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus. Exposure to database testing using SQL . Experience in working with cloud-based applications or services .
