Job Description

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality products and services to our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire delivery process, from project initiation to completion, ensuring timely, on-budget, and quality delivery of all services and solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities:

Project Delivery:
Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (technical, business, operations, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, ensuring proactive risk mitigation.

Stakeholder Management:

Engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and team members.
Communicate project status, timelines, and risks to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring that all expectations and requirements are met.

Team Leadership:

Manage and motivate project teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to succeed.
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
Provide guidance and coaching to team members to enhance performance and career development.

Budget and Resource Management:

Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
Ensure that the appropriate resources (people, tools, and technology) are available to deliver the project successfully.

Process Improvement:

Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
Implement best practices in project delivery and share lessons learned from past projects.
Facilitate retrospectives and feedback loops to improve team performance and delivery outcomes.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Collaborate with quality assurance (QA) teams to incorporate testing and validation into the project delivery lifecycle.

Skills:

Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or in a similar role (e.g., Project Manager, Scrum Master) within an IT or technical environment.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, etc.).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Client-focused with an ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Certifications (Optional but preferred):
PMP (Project Management Professional), Prince2, Agile, or Scrum certifications.
ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification for IT service management
