We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Engineer with a strong background in the manufacturing of pressure vessels and heavy fabrication components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring quality, adherence to industry codes (ASME, IS, etc.), and timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage daily production activities for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and other heavy fabricated items.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with ASME, IBR, IS standards, and other applicable codes during fabrication.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, welding plans, and fabrication sketches.
• Coordinate with design, QA/QC, welding, and machining departments to ensure production goals and quality targets are met.
• Supervise fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly operations.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and machines.
• Implement and monitor production schedules and maintain delivery timelines.
• Maintain documentation related to production processes, weld maps, stage inspection reports, and test records.
• Ensure adherence to safety practices and promote a safe working environment.
• Participate in client and third-party inspections and ensure timely resolution of non-conformities.
• Work closely with quality and project management teams for production planning and execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in pressure vessel or heavy fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII, IBR, IS codes, welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, SAW), and NDT methods.
• Proficiency in reading fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
