Sr. Performance Engineer

As an Apps Support Tech Lead Analyst at Citigroup, your role involves partnering with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals. You will be responsible for identifying and defining necessary system enhancements, analyzing existing system logic, identifying problems, and recommending and implementing solutions. Your expertise in the field and advanced level of understanding of apps support principles will be crucial in formulating and defining systems scope and objectives for complex, high-impact application enhancements and problem resolution. Your duties will include: - Providing advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business - Working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Systems Analysts to determine and document Systems impacts and support requirements - Identifying risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues, communicating impact, and proposing risk mitigation options - Acting as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and allocating work - Providing in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions - Directly impacting the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel, or provided services - Persuading and influencing others through strong and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills - Performing other duties and functions as assigned Your qualifications for this role include: - 6-10 years of experience - Practical problem-solving and strategic thinking skills - Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills, and relationship-building skills - Service-oriented attitude - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Experience working or leading requirement gathering efforts for multiple large development projects at one time - Proficiency in using basic technical tools and systems such as load runner, AppD, and Splunk - Good interpersonal and communication skills Education: - Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred You will also demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Performance Engineering process and Monitoring tools, specifically in performance engineering for Public Cloud adoption to AWS, OpenShift technologies.
