Sr. PCB Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex PCB layouts for multi-layer boards, including high-speed, flex-rigid, and hybrid PCBs (digital and RF).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create designs optimized for manufacturability and performance.
• Work on high-speed board designs with experience in Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis.
• Design PCBs with HDI (High-Density Interconnect) technology and flex-rigid configurations.
• Perform advanced component placement and routing while ensuring impedance control and thermal management.
• Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFT (Design for Testability), and DFA (Design for Assembly) reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Create and maintain design documentation, including schematics, Gerber/ODB++ files, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
• Coordinate with fabrication vendors for prototype and production support, ensuring design intent and quality.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in PCB design tools are a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in PCB design with hands-on expertise in:

• CAD Tools

  : Proficient in either Cadence (Allegro/OrCAD) or Zuken Cadstar.
• High-speed board designs, HDI, and flex-rigid PCBs.
• Hybrid PCB designs combining digital and RF circuits.
• SI and PI analysis for complex boards.
• Should have Experience in designing Pcb's upto 22 Layer.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and standards (e.g., IPC, MIL-STD).
• Expertise in high-speed interfaces (e.g., DDR, PCIe, Ethernet) and RF design principles.
• Familiarity with advanced PCB materials and stack-up design for performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and ability to mentor junior team members.
