Job Description

Environmental Monitoring & Sampling

Conduct regular monitoring and sampling of
air, water, soil, noise
, and emissions as per regulatory norms.
Ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and documentation of environmental parameters.
Coordinate with external labs for periodic monitoring wherever required.
Maintain environmental monitoring equipment in proper working condition.

Regulatory Compliance & Documentation

Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, including
CPCB/SPCB guidelines
and industry-specific norms.
Prepare, update, and manage documentation related to:

Consent to Establish (
CTE
)
Consent to Operate (
CTO
)
Hazardous Waste Authorization (
HWA
)
Annual environmental reports and returns

Liaise with regulatory authorities for renewals, inspections, audits, and submissions.

Pollution Control & Environmental Norms

Monitor and maintain compliance with
pollution control norms
, including stack emissions, effluent discharge, waste management, and ambient air quality.
Identify deviations in environmental performance and implement corrective/ preventive actions.
Ensure operational efficiency of pollution control devices such as ESPs, bag filters, water treatment systems, etc.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of environmental regulations, guidelines, and
pollution control norms

Hands-on experience in
environmental monitoring & sampling equipment
.
Knowledge of
CTO, CTE, HWA
processes, documentation, and renewal procedures.
Understanding of
waste management protocols
and statutory compliance.
Experience with
EIA processes
and sustainability initiatives.
Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
