Job Description Fireman DUTIES OF FIREMAN: To attend fire and other emergency call. To be well acquainted with all the information regarding water facilities, communication, topography, and fire risks in the plant premises & jurisdictions. To carry out duties that may be assigned to him by GIL. To remain alert while on duty all the time and not to leave the place of duty assigned by the superiors without prior permission / reliever. Required to maintain fire control equipment in good working condition and measures at your department / section. Required to regularly impart awareness to contractor / GIL employees on fire prevention, protection & emergency preparedness.
