Sr. Manager/Director of Business Development/Product Marketing Network Infra and Carrier Products

You will be joining MaxLinear as a Sr. Manager/Director of Business Development/Product Marketing. Your primary responsibilities will include expanding MaxLinear's presence among the top 20 global service providers. You will have direct account responsibility for certain operators in India, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. It will be essential for you to learn, communicate, and effectively position MaxLinear's product differentiations in 5G infrastructure, Wi-Fi, and broadband. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating and maintaining revenue and unit forecasts to support MaxLinear forecast cycles every quarter. Collaboration with global sales teams on forecast alignment, RFPs, supply chain, etc., will also be a crucial aspect of your role. You will work closely with engineering and marketing teams to review and contribute to Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs), market analysis, competitive threats, and other trends. Developing and implementing communication plans for customers, sales, investors, and internal executive presentations will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should be willing to travel domestically or globally as required, with more than 50% travel expected. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, including experience in creating and delivering highly effective presentations to senior management. You should possess extensive technical knowledge in areas such as silicon product life cycle, broadband industry standards and products (DOCSIS/PON), Wi-Fi standards, generations, and products, as well as 5G and cellular infrastructure. Building and analyzing complex financial models, along with familiarity with Excel, will be necessary for this position. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 13 years of experience, or a Master's/MBA with a minimum of 10 years of experience, is required.
