Job Description

The Senior Manager SCM will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring optimal efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials and products. The role involves strategic planning, vendor management, logistics optimization, and cross-functional coordination with production, procurement, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve operational performance and reduce costs.
Manage procurement, inventory control, logistics, and distribution activities.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and logistics partners.
Oversee demand forecasting and production planning to ensure material availability.
Monitor supply chain KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination between supply chain and business units.
Lead and mentor the SCM team to achieve organizational goals.
Evaluate new technologies, systems, and tools to enhance SCM efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile:

B.Tech / BE / MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
15-18 years of experience in end-to-end SCM operations, preferably in manufacturing or automotive industry.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar).
