About the Role

Manager – Hydraulics

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hydraulic design activities within R&D.
• Design and reverse engineer hydraulic aggregates for Combine Harvesters.
• Select hydraulic components based on application and required specifications.
• Perform closed-loop calculations and other design calculations.
• Develop functional mock-ups, proto builds, pre-series, and SOP support.
• Generate BOM, raise purchase requests, and support proto shop during builds.
• Collaborate with testing team to provide inputs and review results.
• Work closely with different aggregate owners for seamless vehicle integration.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 8–10 years

  of relevant experience in Hydraulics Design.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Hydraulic component selection, schematics, routing, flow calculations, etc.
• Vehicle-level integration of hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in

  3D modelling (SolidWorks preferred)

  , detailing, and GD&T.
• Understanding of sheet metal, casting, forging materials and application-based material selection.
• Ability to coordinate across teams and drive tasks independently.

Qualifications

• B. Tech / M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
