Sr. Manager - Operations

Key Roles Responsibilities

1.

Strategic Planning Leadership

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Align plant operations with organizational goals - both short-term and long-term.
  • Lead capacity expansion, modernization, and infrastructure development projects.
2.

Operations Management

  • Supervise daily manufacturing operations ensuring high-quality output and timely deliveries.
  • Optimize the use of manpower, materials, and machinery for maximum productivity.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to enable data-driven continuous improvement.
3.

Financial Management

  • Prepare, manage, and monitor plant budgets for cost optimization.
  • Analyze operational costs and implement strategies for improved profitability.
4.

Safety Compliance

  • Enforce strict safety standards and ensure a zero-incident workplace.
  • Ensure full compliance with legal, environmental, and regulatory standards.
5.

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams and plant managers.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement training and development programs.
6.

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other industry best practices.
  • Promote innovation and technology adoption for improved operational outcomes.

Qualifications Experience

  • Education

    : Bachelor s degree in Engineering / Industrial Management or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience

    : 20+ years in manufacturing/plant operations, including 10+ years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and scaling manufacturing capabilities.
  • Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
