Job Description

You will be responsible for driving sales growth for new and existing accounts by introducing new revenue streams, acquiring new clients, and increasing product penetration within the current account base. This role involves taking complete ownership of generating new order bookings (OB) and increasing existing revenue for the designated accounts or business. Your primary objective will be achieving sales targets through effective sales planning, prospecting, building relationships, identifying opportunities, qualifying leads, pursuing deals, and finalizing closures. This position is pivotal in shaping the operational plans based on the business strategy and will have a significant impact on the overall results of the business unit. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing business potential, devising sales plans and strategies to enhance current business, develop new revenue sources, and secure new clients. You will be required to establish important relationships with key stakeholders, connect with decision-makers, influencers, and executive sponsors within the accounts or partner organizations, and manage the sales pipeline while overseeing sales projections and revenue forecasts. Understanding customer requirements, managing the entire sales cycle, and ensuring customer satisfaction will be crucial aspects of this role. Moreover, you will be tasked with owning the accounts by comprehending customer strategic objectives, business needs, operational challenges, purchasing decisions, contractual processes, internal dynamics, and effectively managing stakeholder expectations. Internally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as technical solutions, bids and commercial, finance, products, service delivery, and operations. Depending on the specific requirements, you may operate as an individual contributor or lead a small team. To be successful in this role, you should have a background in enterprise sales with experience in technology services companies (telecom, hardware, software, applications, cloud services) in an account management capacity. Desired skill sets include proficiency in sales motion cadence related to forecasting, SFDC management, and pipeline/funnel development. Extensive experience in cultivating executive relationships with key customer stakeholders and expertise in formulating Go-to-Market plans and customer acquisition strategies will be advantageous.,
