Sr Manager Electrical Design(TRansformers Industry)

We required Sr Manager Electrical Design for the our group company- ATLAS TRansformers India Limited , POR, Vadodara Job Summary : To lead and manage the electrical design function for power and distribution transformers , ensuring technically sound, cost-effective, and standards-compliant designs. The role involves overseeing a team of design engineers, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and supporting customer requirements throughout the design lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead the electrical design and development of oil-immersed and dry-type transformers (up to 50 MVA / 66 kV ratings). Prepare and review transformer designs including core, winding, insulation, impedance, losses, and temperature rise. Ensure compliance with IEC, ANSI, IS, and IEEE standards. Review customer specifications, prepare technical proposals, and support tendering teams. Coordinate with mechanical design, production, testing, and quality departments to ensure manufacturability and performance of transformer designs. Review and approve GA drawings, wiring diagrams, nameplates, and technical documentation. Provide technical support for type/routine testing, failure analysis, and field service issues.
