About the Role:

Senior Information Security Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute information security initiatives across infrastructure, cloud, and applications.
  
• Manage and monitor security events, logs, and alerts using SIEM and other security tools.
  
• Conduct regular

  vulnerability assessments, penetration testing

  , and risk analyses.
• Identify, investigate, and remediate security incidents and potential threats.
  
• Maintain and operate endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and threat management systems.
  
• Ensure compliance with

  ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS

  , and other regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with IT, Risk, and Compliance teams to strengthen security posture.
  
• Develop and implement

  security policies, standards, and best practices

• Support audits, prepare documentation, and assist in security governance activities.
  
• Provide mentorship and training to team members on cybersecurity tools and processes.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1015 years of

  hands-on cybersecurity experience

  with strong implementation and operational background.
• Expertise in

  SIEM management, vulnerability assessment, incident response, and threat detection

  .
• Strong understanding of

  network, application, and cloud security

  principles.
• Proven experience in

  log analysis

  ,

  security monitoring

  , and

  root cause investigation

  .
• Sound knowledge of

  data protection laws, privacy compliance

  , and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred Industry Background:

• Candidates from

  FinTech, Banking, Financial Services, or IT operations-focused organizations

  preferred.
• Experience in regulated environments will be an added advantage.
  

Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred):

• CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CCSP, OSCP
