Import

1) Import shipment Budgeting / Pre land costing

2) Import Duty Calculation, Documentation & clearance

3) Follow up with Foreign supplier for documents against import Shipment

4) Follow up with CHA, Freight forwarder, transporter, courier agency for smooth clearance & on time delivery.

5) AQ/PQ clearance follow up for clearance.

6) Vehicle arrangement after import clearances

7) Daily reporting of Import clearance, upcoming imports and projected imports.

8) After Import final landing cost working and sharing with Finance team, shipping team and management.

9) Visit to custom office time to time for IDPMS query solution

DGFT

1. Advance / EPCG License application to DGFT
2. Follow up with CA/CE for application required certificate
3. Online Application for redemption DEEC/EPCG License
4. Export Obligation Period Extension application on DGFT site & follow up
5. Balance Quantity regularisation for license redemption
6. Daily follow up and update of pending license for redemption planning
7. Time to time visit to DGFT follow up for license closure
8. After license redemption Bond cancellation process from custom department

Custom & SEZ

Duty Drawback Brand rate claim application for duty re-imbursement against paid duty

1. Custom visit - In case of any Import or Export query
2. Visit SEZ & Plant custom office time to time for plant EOU conversion to fulfil documentation requirement.

Export

1) Co-ordination and instruction to Export team for correct export shipping bill filling to realise the incentive or fulfil export obligation of issued advance or EPCG license.

2) Marine Insurance – Monthly shipment details sharing to Insurance company and renewal/ recharge of premium time to time.

3) Pre – Post Export Shipment Planning Documentation.

Other Responsibilities

1) Communication/Visit customs (Air cargo/NSICT) regarding received queries.

2) Insurance return Filing – Monthly/Quarterly

3) Co-ordinating with ICEGATE if required

4) MIS

Note :

1. Suitable Candidate experience should be from any Import company or exim consultancy firm.
2. Person working with shipping lines & freight forwarder/NVOCC is not suitable for this position
