Profile Summary

Arial Engineering Services is seeking a Senior HVAC Designer to develop and refine HVAC system designs for commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fresh air and building ventilation systems, central air conditioning, and mechanical ventilation. This role requires strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD tools to create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

Roles and Responsibilities :

HVAC Design & System Development:

• Design fresh air and building ventilation systems, central air conditioning, and ducting layouts in compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, coordination drawings, and schematic (SLD) drawings for HVAC systems.
• Develop and improve HVAC components, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with local and international regulations.
• Perform load calculations, pressure loss calculations, and airflow analysis to optimize system performance.

Technical Drawings & CAD Operations:

• Utilize AutoCAD (2018 or later) and Inventor to create and modify technical blueprints and models. Ensure precise detailing of HVAC layouts, including ducting, piping, and equipment placement.
• Generate MEP estimation sheets, costing sheets, and BOQs for projects.

Project Coordination & Material Procurement:

• Coordinate with engineers, procurement teams, and contractors to ensure proper material selection and project execution. Prepare material specifications and assist in the procurement of HVAC components.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation of HVAC systems.

Research, Analysis & Compliance:

• Conduct research and apply engineering methodologies to improve HVAC system performance.
• Ensure all designs comply with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and other relevant industry standards.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work with sales, operations, and project teams to align design specifications with customer requirements.Participate in design reviews and technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent or a related field. Proven experience in HVAC system design and implementation preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2018, Inventor, and other CAD software.
• Knowledge of industry codes, safety standards, and best practices.
