Sr HRIS Analyst (Workday)

Role Overview: At Illumina, as a Senior Analyst, People Technology, you will have the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you will support multiple projects and programs globally for Human Resources and cross-functional groups. Your role will involve administration and configuration of Workday systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of HR processes & data, training and consulting employees, troubleshooting integrations, designing custom reports and analytics, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project deliverables, providing status updates, escalating risks and issues, providing subject matter expertise on People systems, and supporting Workday's bi-annual updates. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and configure Workday systems to optimize HR business processes - Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR processes & data globally - Train and consult employees on standard operating procedures and system functionality - Maintain and troubleshoot integrations from HR applications to other enterprise systems - Design & develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to identify trends for management decision making - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business requirements with HR systems - Develop and manage core project deliverables including scope, requirements, resource plans, project schedules, risk management plans, and more - Provide clear status updates for key project stakeholders and escalate critical issues as needed - Provide subject matter expertise and leadership on People systems in system design - Partner with customers to develop test strategy, scenarios/scripts, and execute systems testing - Support Workday's bi-annual updates Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, HR, or related field - 4+ years of HRIS experience configuring Workday HCM - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - High attention to detail - Good understanding of the human resources function - Ability to multitask and re-prioritize in a fast-paced organization - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and charts - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Experience consulting with the business to define requirements and provide recommended solutions - Experience creating and distributing reports & metrics as a Business Analyst - Experience working using Agile, Scrum, and related principles and best practices,
